Last updated October 2026. This policy covers coralrealty.ca and how Coral Realty Group, Right at Home Realty, Brokerage, handles the personal information you share with us.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us: usually your name, email address, phone number and details about the property or search you're asking about. We collect it when you fill in a form, book a call, request a home valuation or subscribe to The Review.
Like most websites, we also collect basic, non-identifying usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate location) through cookies and analytics tools, to understand what's working on the site.
How we use it
To answer your question, prepare what you asked for (for example a home valuation), and help you buy, sell, lease or invest. We never sell or rent your information.
We keep your details in our customer relationship management system so our team can follow up properly. Some trusted service providers (website hosting, email and CRM software) process information on our behalf and only for these purposes.
Real estate transactions are regulated. When you become a client, some information is shared with our brokerage and, where required, with lawyers, lenders or other parties to your transaction, and kept as required under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA) and RECO rules.
Our home search
If you create a home search account, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given) and a record of how you use the home search (sign-ins, searches, homes viewed and saved). We use it to run the service, to help you as your brokerage, and to meet the rules of PropTx and the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB). This Personal Information may be shared with PropTx for auditing and/or legal purposes. We keep it for at least 180 days after your access expires, even if you delete your account. When you agree to the home search Terms of Use we also record when you opened them, when you agreed, the version you agreed to, and the internet address and browser or app you used, and we email you a confirmation.
When you use our home search (coralrealty.ca/search), your browser keeps a random ID so we can count visits and see how the search is used: which pages and homes are opened, how far people look through photos and price history, which areas the map shows, searches that find nothing, page speed and errors. If you sign up, this browsing is linked to your account so the agent helping you can see the homes you're interested in.
If you tap “near me” or allow your location, we store it rounded to about 1 km (never your exact spot) to understand where our clients are, and only ever show it in groups of 5 or more people. You can turn location off in your browser at any time and the search still works.
This information is kept in our own database and our customer relationship management system, and may be shared with PropTx as described above. It is not sent to Google, Facebook or any advertising company, and we don't sell it. Detailed records are deleted after 24 months. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the home search doesn't record any of this. You can ask us to delete it any time (see Your choices below).
Emails from us
We only send market updates and newsletters if you've agreed to receive them, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us directly to stop.
Newsletters are sent through our email provider, Resend. To see which topics are useful, our newsletters note whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, and that shows on your file with us. Emails about your account, your searches or a home you asked about don't track opens or clicks. If an email bounces or is marked as spam, we stop sending newsletters to that address.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (unless we are required by law to keep it). Just email team@coralrealty.ca or call 416.508.5667.
Security
This site uses encryption (https) for everything you send us. Access to client information is limited to the team members who need it to help you.
Cookies
Cookies help us see how visitors use the site and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
